Come to Jesus Just Now

When I was a little girl, I remember my pastor and the members of the church choir singing the song, “Come to Jesus Just Now.” That song has stayed with me all my life. When I think about being saved, giving my life to the Lord, I can always hear that song play in my mind.

It’s amazing how these words carry such deep meaning, even as you grow older. When I was young, I remember hearing about all the wonderful things that Christ wants for us, what He will do for us, and just how much He loves us. Those truths were comforting to me then, and even as I grew up and could fully understand my own decisions, that foundation never changed.

I wanted to write this to encourage you. If you’re seeking Christ as your Lord and Savior, please come to Him. He’s waiting for you, and His love is endless. You can:

  • Invite Christ into your life by letting Him know you need Him.

  • Repent from the things of the past.

  • Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sins, and that He rose again.

  • Declare that you are choosing to follow Christ.

Life-changing! Here are some scriptures that have helped me in my own walk with the Lord:

  • John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

  • Romans 10:9: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

  • Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

If you feel a stirring in your heart and aren’t sure what to do next, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you have questions, need someone to guide you in prayer, or just want to share your story, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Also, if you’d like prayer, I invite you to connect with the Prayer Haven right here on this website or reach out to me directly. It’s such a blessing to lift one another up in prayer.

Jesus loves you so much, and I’m here to remind you that His arms are open wide for you—just now, just as you are.
